"Some interesting background on this piece is that I made this on October 21st 2021, a little over a month after Virginfest. I was dealing with the aftermath of being massively cancelled and attempting to take my own life over it, and I remember this piece specifically being a really good outlet for those feelings. I really enjoy mixing crass, uncomfortable themes with bright colours and cute imagery because I think it reflects well that even the happiest and most bubbly people you know can have these kind of issues."
